The listing says no prior experience is required, it is free for members and $20 for non-members, and a casual social starts straight after the class and is open to non-members. The October 2026 session was listed for Sunday 18 October, from 3 to 5 pm; the ticket page shows the current dates.

A relaxed first meeting in Silver Lake

LA Kinky Weirdos holds regular social munches on Thursday evenings at Untamed Spirits, an outdoor, woman-owned sports bar in Silver Lake, meeting under the tent at the back. The dress code is relaxed, and the group says to dress up, dress down or come as you are. It is not a play party, and the organisers say they cannot promise you will meet play partners, though many members have found partners and friends there.
